Concrete is an important building material. In recent decades, the ternary system has developed into a complex high-performance building material. It must bear pressure loads and protect reinforcing steel against corrosion, while being exposed to a variety of environmental conditions. Concrete must therefore meet very high standards.

The concrete department of Hansa-Nord-Labor offers:

• Condition assessment on civil engineering structures
  Spalling, cracks and rust are alarm signals for aging building fabric. Our experienced team determines the extent and degree of damage.
• Bridge inspections according to DIN 1076
  We carry out regular general and simple inspections regarding stability, road safety and durability according to DIN 1076. This allows the identification of defects early and thereby improves safety.
• Green and hardened concrete testing
  Hansa-Nord-Labor is an accredited inspection agency (W, E, F).
  We prepare proofs of suitability and offer consultation regarding concrete placing. The goal is to ensure that the concrete is always processed at the same high quality.
• Supervision of monitoring class 2 sites
  Our experts have experience with self-monitoring and external monitoring of monitoring class 2 construction sites.
• Inspection of concrete goods
  We check all concrete goods for tolerances and material properties by means of factory production controls and check tests.

• Special tests
  Scanning electron microscopy
  X-ray analysis (EDX)
  Asbestos measurements
