First research contract with the German Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Housing: “Optimisation of the empirical parameters for implementing and evaluating performance-oriented bitumen tests with the help of a dynamic shear rheometer”.

Establishment of a company-owned engineering office for planning, tendering, and site supervision in the areas of road construction and underground engineering. The office is located on the expanded Nordlabor business premises.

Second research contract with the German Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Housing: “The influence of quality differences of polymer-modified bituminous binding agents of the same variety on the mechanical behaviour of asphalt, Part 1: Deformation behaviour under heat”

Dr.-Ing. (doctor of engineering) Manfred Hase becomes a publicly appointed and sworn expert for asphalt construction in road construction and traffic route engineering as well as movement areas
