At the top from the very beginning

Hansa-Nord-Labor was founded in 1964 as an independent, neutral testing institute. The company was thus a pioneer and created a new industrial sector. Hansa-Nord-Labor is accredited as an independent inspection centre by building control authorities and as a notified inspection agency and certification authority by the Deutsches Institut für Bautechnik (German Institute for Building Technology).
Initially the company focused on
- asphalt and bituminous building materials
- concrete, mortar, screed, brickwork
- floor, aggregate, and environmental technology
Growth
Demand and opportunities in the field of structural engineering ensured expansion of our service range. In 2004, two additional fields were created:
- engineering company and project management
- research, development, and special tasks
Today and in the future
The willingness of each department to look beyond its own area of expertise enables Hansa-Nord-Labor to approach and solve problems holistically. Hansa-Nord-Labor thus evolved beyond the limits of an inspection and analysis institute for good, and is a proactive source of ideas and a driving force in the industry. With this ability, the departments of Hansa-Nord-Labor merge into a single unit for solving any questions related to road construction and civil engineering.
